i purchased a medium long tentacle anemone to day and was told to dig a small hole in the sub straight and place him in , well the short and long of it is that just did not work. the power heads moved him right out and he floated around a bit ,then i turned the jets off and put him back ,and because my B&W clowns decided he was theirs at this point they knocked him out and about !!! so how do i get him to stay put any help would be nice !!!!:-/

get a bowl or something to put over him and protect him for a while. That will give it a chance to get a hold.

I made a cage out of egg crate just for this purpose.

Yeah I had to do that with a net. My clarki's mauled mine when I put it in the tank. Net would work better than a bowl if one's big enough. A bowl would trap water. Either works though.

How many anemones do you have.

I have noticed a condy, a BTA and a new LTA mentioned in your current post,

You can not keep these different type of anemones together unless it is a large system and established for a year or more.

Would love to offer help if I can but I am really confused.

While assistance with stocking a tank is good, it is not always the best idea to follow the LFS. They are going to sell you things that are not appropriate for the system. It is a business.

You are going run into problems with keeping three types of anemones in a 65 gals tank that is relatively new.

Not trying to be mean or negitive, just honest. You may not see problems immediately. One anemone goes walking or goes bad and it can bring your whole system crashing down.

Good luck and I hope it works out for you.
