    Mantke retraction is the most obviouse, well bleaching is pretty dramitic. Every ailment for clams is pretty pronounce, once you get a handle on what healthy looks like. I have seen clams go within 2 days, that were pretty healthy looking. Just rectracted for a day, next day the mouth was gaping and still rectracted. History later that night. That was a bunch, I belive the shipment got to hot in transport, a common problem outa Tonga.

    Funny you should ask. As you can see by the thread post dates I got this Clam around May 31st 2003. The clam did really well until one day a stray shroom a attached itself to the clam. I thought nothing of it until I noticed that during the day when the shroom is full open it completely covers the Clam. I had to go away on business and when I returned the clam was gone.
