lots of little peices!

Hey all - I just went to my lfs and he gave me loads of little bits of coral that arent saleable.

The trouble is - how do i convince the coral that they want to stick to the rock?? I've heard some mentioning of super glue on here - is that right??

 

yeah, the gel type or rubber bands.

 

Typical run-of-the-mill super glue works too. I've used it. It's like a buck at Wal-Mart.

Super glue gel only works on stony corals for me so use rubberbands if you're dealing with soft corals.

 

i use plastic mesh and rubber bands around square or circular pieces of rubble rock. superglue works just as well

 

one more question, can you take the coral and the rock out of the water to do the gluing??

 

I have also used bridal mesh to put of softies and then let them attach to the rock before I remove.
