would global warming have any part to do with this? do O2 levels drop when temps rise?

and the corals in the red sea really don't seem to mind the higher temp.

ground probe and cuprisorb. I could never keep snails or crabs until I put both of them in my tank. Use both, it couldn't hurt! I keep my tank at 79 and the SG at 1.025 and everything is very happy at this temp and SG.

After calling around everywhere No LFS store or pet store around here had a Mg test so I took water to my LFS store to have them test it! Mg 0 Copper 0 But low and behold they think my refractometer isn't working! They got a SG at 1.030:eek::confused::eek::eek::eek: So I came home to check my refactometer and make sure it was calibrated. I must have a broken old bad refractometer.I gave some of my water to another friend to double check late last night and I am waiting to hear back to see what he says!! Thank you everyone it might be my salinity but if you can think of anything else please let me know!

Sorry it isn't 0 I meant to write normal....I was thinking of the copper when typing. Dan said it was something like 1500? Does that sound right. He just told me it was normal!

1500 is good. That makes it more confusing about your low kh. If your mg is around 1500 and your Ca is around 450 then your kh should be around 9 or higher. Something isn't adding up. Either bad tests or bad supplement.

I haven't been using supplement but I restarted to use it to try to bring it up. I don't understand why it wouldn't be up! I will test again tomorrow! Today it was still low!
