It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Now you are the last person that I would think would need suggestions on LPS.

What about some duncans, they grow quickly and add movement. Also dendro, you feed the tank pretty frequently. Also fungia.

LOL Crap!, I have duncans I forgot about them LOL... :( Im such a bad person lol.

I actually Only feed my tank once a day! I cut bag major on feedings from 2-3x + nori each day to
Once a day and nori every 3rd lol... Fish are more crazy when it comes to the food... but They still are quite fat.

No offense, as I know you know your stuff, but I hate the blanket terms of "open brains" and "meat corals" in this hobby. Those are so vague and I can think of 4 things that could fall under each category.

Now, to answer your question :)

They're a bit hard to find and tend to be expensive, but how about a moseleya? Mines super easy to care for, and it's usually one of those people don't recognize. And I second the fungia suggestion. Many rare, really neat colorations there. I have a neon green that glows so bright under actinics that the light reflection is visible on passing by fish.

You don't have any acans. They come in all colors and grow fast. Cynaria corals are cool. But the acans are my first choice.

Moseleya latistellata, is common in divers den, I see it alot, I have pondered the coral, but Im not a huge fan of green. And I have rarely seen them not green.

Acanthophyllia, Ive only commonly heard of them as meat corals. I havent really ever seen anything other then a miss labeled scolymia in that category.
Trachyphyllia Radiata and Geoffroyi - Im sick of hearing people bicker about them LOL. Where have you seen something of the trachy family not called an open brain and what in its placement?

From everything I've read they are VERY slow growers. I have a single head of Red with Neon Green Center about 20" deep cocked at an angle (as suggested) so the mouth does not get blasted with direct light. It is under a lot of LEDs, with moderate to low flow. They come in a variety of colors as well, most common is red/green and purple/green. I have seen all red, all purple, all blue, and variations of each, including speckled and striped. I believe Unique Corals had a large variety a few months back, very pretty. Diver's Den has colonies daily, if grow out time is a concern.

Growling out isnt a concern, ITs more so if it needs to be on the sand bed for me. RUnning out of room in the sand :(
