LR Rubble in Overflow

    My 75 gallon tank has an AGA mega Overflow on it. I was wondering what everybody thought of putting LR rubble in the overflow instead of my sump. That way I can have a larger fuge.

    I would think that if there are any problems, they'll be due to turbulence and noise from the rock.

    I figure worst case scenario is I have a leave from the bulk heads at some point and I need to take all the rubble out to put the bulkheads back on. Or maybe is a fish jumps into the overflow.

    I'll give it a try tonight.
