Well that was initially the plan to go with just fish. But i had an incident with my small coral tank, so had to transfer the corals from that into the big one. Then as you probably know...you cant just stop at a one or two corals. Dammit, im hooked on the coral drug already!

Whats the best way to kill the Majano then? He is pretty big

Haha. Yeah. The coral bug is easy to catch. You could shoot the majano nem up with joes juice or liquid calcium. Just try to get the tip of the syringe in the mouth of the nem. It is usually more effective then.

Went to the market today. Coudnt find the shop you meant though steve. but i did however find a new salty shop there though. Its only small. But it has some good corals at really great prices. Cheaper than even the 3 lady shop. Big colonies for only 30rmb each!! :0 so needless to say i got a few of those babies. Ill get more pics up tomorrow.

    Thanks for the comments guys

She also treated me to a two and a half week vacation in Malaysia for my birthday. :O

So id like to take this time to thank her for being such a great girlfriend and being so tolerant of my crazy ideas and hobbies. Oh and also for cooking and cleaning etc etc...... oh and having a nice rack. I really appreciate that too :)

Anyway. Where was I? Oh yes.....Hope you enjoyed the pictures :)

Thank you very much Kss. Im not really sure the english name of that coral. But from what i can gather it is some sort of Carnation or Dendronephthya. They are very commonly available at the stores here in china. When i bought it it was very full and tree like. But i guess im yet to find the right spot for it in the tank for it to truly relax.

    nice looking tank pictures Luc

you may always struggle with the Carnation Im afraid
it seems they prefer lower temps than most corals, from some of the research I have done into them, with temps of 22C as maximum being given
but dropping temps that low is both expensive and then not optimum for the other things we keep in our tanks

its a shame as there are a lot of them about - reds , pinks, orange even , available , but they are all about the same in terms of being difficult to create ideal needs for
