So how many of you guys run lunar lights on your tanks? And do you run them all night long? I think it would look cool but is it just a waste of electricity. Thanks In advance. [I was going to run the blue ones]

Mine run all night long till the main lights come on in the morning, at about 500ma i don't think it affects an electric bill to much.

Its not the electric we past that a long time ago. Are there advantages to the moon lights or just wow factor. I am looking at the current 3 bulbs per and was going to order three of them.

I only run mine for a few hours after the last bank of lights go off...I like to give the tank a few hours of total darkness...some of my corals and other critters seem to like complete darkness...I don't think there are any real advantages to "moonlights" other than it gives you a cool tank to look at with all the other lights out...all of our prop/holding tanks are dark all night and I don't see any difference in the livestock...I have heard reports of a few people using the lunar tables on a controller to simulate true lunar cycles and seeing a few things spawn because of it...but it's not likely we are going to see any of those gametes grow into new corals.
