    Lyretail Anthias-Help?!

Hi, I'm pretty new to this but I have a question. I recently added a male lyretail anthias to my 75 gallon tank. Today, when I was doing a head count I noticed that a few of my peppermint shrimp were missing. They are out and visible almost 90% of the time and now I only see one of them(which is pregant). The only other fish I have in the tank is a yellow tang. I've done some research on anthias and they all seem pretty reef safe and I haven't found anything that says they will eat shrimp. I was just curious if anyone has ever heard of this or if they could possibly give me some other ideas on where my peppermint shrimp went to.

They may be hiding until they get used to the new addition. Watch your bioload, both anthias and tangs can fill up a 75 pretty quick, so if your going to keep them in there just make sure you don't put in to much else.

I've got a male/female pair of lyretails and they don't bother my shrimp. Peppermint shrimp are pretty shy so it could be that they're just hiding out.

Thanks for your advice guys. I'm still a little worried. I even searched the tank last night with all the lights off and a red flash light to see if I could see any of them hiding. And my anthias definetly does not have a problem with the cleaner so I hope its not the anthias eating them.

YAY!! I found my peppermint shrimp- all of them too. They all migrated to a different rock and were in hiding for a couple days but they are all still alive and my lyretail isnt eathing them!
