Macro Algae

    what kind of macro is this? And it kinda looks like it is bleaching out or something. Should i move it away from the lights, its about 5 inches from the Power Compacts?

    it is a charlie brown christmas tree version of botryocladia occidentalis. It does look like it is getting a little too much light. Keep with that macro and in time it will regrow its bubbles, (it looks like it was collected late in the season), and will look very nice. The algae is also known as red grape caulerpa.

    hi John! Thats Funny. I actually got this from you guys with my clean up crew, which is doing great BTW. I have this in my display tank, will it be hard to trim or keep under control?
