macro algae??

    john planter caulerpa....sorry no dice. are you sure it is a caulerpa, not something like dead man's fingers (codium?)

    draw it up quick in paint. just rough outline.

    sorry i cant figure out paint [​IMG] heres the closest thing i could find online. picture this except much lighter green and its not stuck to the ground the leaves are like attached to a piece of green string all tangled up together. the leaves are also about 1cm on my macro algae

    google image Caulerpa Prolifera. Thats one of the more common caulerpas you see in peoples tanks.....are you sure this isn't it?

    absolutley positive with caulpera prolifera its atached to the bottom and is longer and looks like small kelp in most pics. that is indeed where i got my pic from. the pic that i chose is similar to the one i had because the leaves look really similar

    That is a pic of prolifera above. Get a pic of your stuff and we can identify it. I bet its going to end up being IDed as prolifera.
