Mail order fish

I've never heard of that site but if it's in the UK you may have issues with it and I'm not sure I would pursue it much further than that, the farther the fish have to travel the more likely you are to have issues IMO.

LiveAquaria.com is pretty well known as being one of the best online stores for livestock, possibly even the best.

I've been happy with my order from vividaquariums.com and they have a very nice guarantee on their fish. 15 days and they also refund your money, not just give you store credit like most other places. This is very nice especially if your individual fish you buy are not very expensive then you get like $20-30 store credit if one fish dies from other places and that means you have to pay for shipping again which is almost as much as the fish.

Whereever you decide to go make sure you read and understand their shipping policies and guarantee circumstances well before ordering.

 

I have actually had a few fish sent to me from hawaii and they arrived in boston then driven 1 hr north to my house then acclimated then into qt and have had good luck. I would not worry about the shipping I would worry more about know the quality of the fish. You need to know that they are sending you a good quality fish but would not sweat the shipping.
