I was originally going to get dwarf seahorses and did a whole bunch of research on them...and at the very end changed my mind...just to small. But I found some seahorses that I really liked an orange H. Reddi and a black H. Keollogi. I know the black one is a female, I was there when it was picked out and I saw the males and could definately see the differences. When the Reddi was selected I was looking at other things in the store and I am not sure I actually got a male. To be honest I kind of hope it is a female at this point because I am still in the process now of switching tanks around and starting new tanks because my original plan was for dwarfs. But I think I notice the stomach of the orange getting a little bigger..which means if it is and it is a he, then he came like that!

Right now they are in a bowed front tank and I am having a very hard time getting a good picture of him/she.....Its PAT!!!

Can someone who knows seahorses look at this very bad picture and see if you can tell for me if it is a boy or girl

unfortunately the photos are a little to blurry and you also would need one from the front. here is a web page that might help you a little bit. Seahorse Anatomy Also here is one for Sexing Seahorses Check this out and see if you can get a little bit better picture from the front.
