Mandarin

Yeah, little bugger steal food right out of their mouths, cuz sometimes they don;t get the bigger pieces in one gulp and he comes u and grabs the end that is sticking out and pulls it out of their mouth! its kind of funny because they will give him chase for a few seconds till they realize their is more food floating around them.

 

+1 on everything above, specially flat-out not buying at deathco anymore. I do realize that all stores may be different, but I havent personally seen a SINGLE marine fish from ANY deathco that wasnt seriously distressed in some way. If this is still where you wish to shop, I strongly urge you to set-up a good QT tank.

Some people have had success with getting mandarins to eat frozen cyclops like cyclop-eeze. IMO nothing should be bought from petco other than maybe damsels, but if there is another option, go with that. Mandarins do best in a species tank or with seahorses.

didnt get the mandarin, maybe when i get my 100 gallon in the future ill get one;D. I bought 3 corals instead. ill think about adding a dwarf angel. my wife wants cardinals
