    good suggestion paul. but i want to enjoy him. out in display. and a better "home" for him than my sump.

    lets say someone is setting up a mantis tank, possibly right now. lol. what would be a good substrate depth? would 1 1\2 inches be good ? not enough too much?

    under the increedible pressure from y'all . felt i better get these up. lol. excuse the pic quality as they were taken from above a 5 gallon bucket and the waters a bit cloudy. as far as the tank is concerned, its your basic 10 gal starter kit. theres 2 more pieces of lr to go in. 1 in which the mantis lives in. substrate is 1 1\2 inch crushed coral. water and lr were from my main tank.

    yea hes seems quite lively. ive dropped some mysis in there , which he goes after. tomorrow his new home the water will be warm enough. i will put a couple snails in there and let them games begin. lol. also will go out and buy some other proper food for him. any suggestions?
