Mantis is FAT! lol

Ok so just a fun story...

Today while feeding my mantis (manliketugboat), he did something that was really funny at the time. Ok, so i've gone through 10 or 15 hermit crabs cause he keep killing them and having them for lunch, but these last two i've bought are still alive after a month or so. So i'm guessing that they've learned to live in harmony? I dno. Well i feed manlike and the hermit's pieces of raw shrimp. They love it. I normally feed my mantis first, then the crabs. Manlike has a tendency steal food from them if he hasn't been fed first. So i put some shrimp on the end of a stick and let him chase it around. He grabbed it, and took it back to his burrow. I dropped in once piece that floated down to one hermit. He got his food. The other hermit had his piece dropped in and it landed near him, but being the idiot he is he didn't see it. So i stuck my hand in there to get it in front of him. (Fun fact, my mantis is tame to me when i'm not feeding. During feeding time everything is game.) So i stick my hand in there, pick up the shrimp to put in front of the hermit, and manlike comes tearing around the corner of the rock, snatches the shrimp from my hand on top of the one he already has been fed, and hightales it back to his burrow. Fatty. lol. I was just happy he didn't split my hand open. Kinda cool that he knows who I am. It was funny cause when he snatched it he was still feeding on the one i gave him. So he had two mouthfulls so to speak. lol Anyhow. That's my story. ;D
