    after recently getting my mantis, now i would choose a mantis over most fish any day. ;) but thats just me. only problem i had was it took 3 weeks to finally get my mantis is LOL

    I have an LFS 2 mins away from my house, i can ask if they can order me one..Dpending on how much they cost..Ill have enough money by tonight to get a manits tank soo i gotte make the choice!

    depending on the LFS they might have problems ordering, my LFS said we cant order by species but by color.

    and i dont wanna sway the vote but you should get a mantis ;)

    I've seen ppl keep a mantis ina bucket with just an airstone...that's not a good way to go...as ppl here have said they like to dig some even prefer mud those speices r difficult because of the fine particals theykick up. You maywant to concider some pvc elbows under the sand and rocks for his den.

    Yeah, but thats not what i want! haha, i wanna see the guy in a natural state(AS MUCH AS possible).

    The only thing they actually have in stock is G. viridis (green mantis). The others just say "email me when in stock" if you try to order them.

    thats great! IMO they are the most active and interactive. i think my LFS gave me one even though i specifically asked for anything but..... LOL gotta love 'em ::)
