    what is a fair price for a peacock mantis


    and if i were to put her in a 29 gallon tank would that be ok or should i put her in a 10.

    also is a hob filter ok i have a extra skimmer i just dont want to put it on bc i am putting the tank in my room and the skimmer is loud as hell lol so do you think that will be ok?

    10 gal is way to small for a peacock, 29 gal is just right. HOB filter with regular water changes should be ok, but a skimmer (and water changes) would be better.

    As for the price it really depends where you get it from. <$50 is a fair price for most places, but if you were ordering from stomatopod.com you would expect to pay a little more considering you get to see a picture of the actual mantis before you buy it, they have identified the gender of the animal, they have measured it and they make note of any scars/rapt damage etc.
