I'd go for a superskimmer between those two just because I have superskimmer experience and it works pretty well. People also speak very highly of the Bullet Skimmer and the Octopus Skimmer.

I have the remora pro in a 72g. Works great. No adjustments or tuning required.

I would recommend the Remora, extremely easy setup and no adjustments needed. I use a maxi jet 1200 pump with it.

As for the rock, I would get base rock. If you want to get it offline, I would recommend bulkreefsupply.com or reefcleaners.com, both sponsors of this site and very nice to do business with.

What type of lighting are you looking for? Mh, T5...

I'd stay away from the lace rock and stick with base rock and some LR to seed it. I'm not sure if Lace rock is really reef safe. I used it in my first tank and had nothing but problems. It's unlikely that the Lace rock caused it but I wanted to do everything different this time around. Live rock wasn't really available or common when I did my first tank so lace was really the only option. Stick with rock that came from the sea to be on the safe side. Just my $0.02.

That Lace rock is in my Cichlid tank now by the way.
