Back when i first started my tank i bought a condy and a clown. The clown has now been hosting the anem for about five months now.

The condy has gotten stuck in my koralia powerhead three times

    My problem:
I'm worried because now that i've upgraded my lighting bought more fish and started into corals I do not want this condy getting ripped through the business end of my powerhead and destroying my tank.

Please let me know what you think the best option is:

    1) Leaving everything alone.
    2) Getting a new powerhead
    3) Taking out the condy and replacing it with a "fake" anem and hoping the clown will take to that.
    4) Taking out the condy and replacing it with a frogspawn and then crossing my fingers that they clown will host
    5) Taking out the condy and not putting anything in for the clown.

*6) Using Corafix Adhesive Gel to glue that S.O.B. condy foot onto a rock

*I dont really know if number 6 would work thats why its apart from the other five. If this would work it's the option I would like to do. Keep the condy in the tank but not letting it move

Thanks, if you can think of an option 7 let me know. Otherwise let me here what you think the best option is.

i've tried to place that powerhead everywhere in the tank. The damn condy lets go and floats around the tank and right into the powerhead no matter where I place it.

I've actually seen it happening, it's like slow motion movement across the tank and right into the powerhead. luckily I was able to unplug it before the condy was sucked up in.

They float with the current, so even if you move the powerhead, at some point it'll get into the backcurrent.

basically thats why I wanted to do number 6 with the glue. It would be like glueing a frag to a rock only its a condy.

    Would it hurt the condy?

I'm pretty sure that it would hurt the condy. They'll end up expanding or contracting their base, which the glue wouldn't allow, and tear themselves. That is, if it's a glue that can hold onto a layer of mucus that's constantly being changed; I never heard of one that can glue down soft corals like mushrooms and rics.

I never had my condy do that, perhaps they aren't happy with there location or the tank.

i would go with the anemone not being happy with the conditions its on.
    whats your lightning like?
    water parameters?
    how old is the tank?

how about getting a different kind of powerhead?

Why not add a sponge to the powerhead intake? That's the safest option with any long-tentacle anemone, IMHO.

    Cheers
