I received an early Christmas gift from my wife, back in September :) JBJ 28 Nano CF-Quad w/ stand. I put in our living room (my wife loves aquariums obviously). I bought 30 lbs of Reef Rocks dry rocks, along with about 3-4" of their sand. There is about 15 lbs. of LR I stole from my other tanks. I will soon be replacing the lights with a Rapid retrofit kit.

I am using the stock filter basket for now, but replaced the ceramic rings with Chaeto. I am running an Eshopps PSK-75H skimmer, which I am very happy with!

I am using an Ebay 3W LED light for the Chaeto, which is perfect for this tank IMO:

Inside the stand I have a Reef Angel controller, the JBJ wavemaker, RO/DI storage container, and ATO pump. The lower section, I have another container with a float that will shut off my skimmer if it overflows.

It is obviously still very much a work in progress, but I am very much liking the direction it is heading in. The goal was to make a peaceful, LPS/SPS tank. Here is how it looks today (pardon the algae on the PH's, the snails are working on it!):

The Blue Spotted Jawfish was the first addition, and he certainly made the tank his own. He has made a few burrows and moved almost all of the sand that was in the back of the tank. Amazing fish, with an amazing personality:

Next, a Yellow Banded Possum Wrasse. This little guy is always on the move, hunting for pods. He is a little shy, but not nearly as shy as I thought he would be. I highly recommend a Possum Wrasse for a nano!

The most recent add is a Helfichi Firefish. Although he was very shy in the 10 gal. QT, he is not at all shy in this tank, always out in the open, and a camera hog:

Obviously, there is also a Blood Red Shrimp:

For corals, I have a Frogspawn:

    Acans:

Duncan (started out as just one head, up to 6 or 7 now!):

Trumpet (started with just 2 heads, has split into 6!):

Green Slimer (sorry, I forgot to take one with my camera, so this is from my phone):

And the most recent add, a good size Meteor Shower that I got a killer deal on (IMO):

Future adds include mostly SPS coral, a Tail Spot Blenny (currently in the QT), and a Gold Assessor Basslet. Thanks for looking!

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I think the tank is great.

My favorite fish the BSJF and an expensive Dart/Fire fish.

The macro algaes really make the tank.

    A very nice JBJ indeed.

Thanks Cheryl! I keep the macro in check, but it grows very slowly and so does not need much attention. Definitely better than just rock IMO.

Thanks, he is! They have specific requirements though, and so this tank was basically setup for him. He did not care for the Firefish at all for the first couple hours. He even used his big mouth to move the Firefish out of his way! But now they never pay any attention to eachother.
