hey! First of all congratulations, fantastic photos! You should send some of them to National Geographic Weekly Digest ! My question is about your lens ! f40 ?! Wow ... That's super high... Far beyond diffraction limit (usually f32.0) of most lenses ?! What is your lens ?!

I set the middle one as my wallpaper.
You could probably sell these to webshots or they make nice wallpaper pics.

Sounds overexposed. Need to use a lower ISO or smaller aperture or faster shutter.

If it's a P&S you need to change the EV (exposure values). Bring it back down approximately a stop and see how they turn out. [Look for the +/- sign]

    Post one ?

I was reading the foamback tank thread when I found this one- great coral pics! Your passion for photography shows in your work. We could use a macro photog class!!

Maxalmon - great thread. I'm learning how to use my D60 that I got about a month ago and I'm pretty overwhelmed with all the options. What lenses do you use?

Sorry for being a little slow with responding to threads, the store is taking a lot of my time, today we move several HUGE tanks so that I can make room for the ultra rare frag tanks, plus I just want to personalize the store.

As for my lens, macro lens of choice is my nikon 105 vr Macro. The sigma 105 macro is also a fantastic lens with great optics and $200 less.

Most important thing is to use a tripod, clean the glass on the inside and out right before the shot.
