Maxi-Jet

Has anyone here put the Maxi-Jet 900 in there 14G Biocube?

i have a modded 900 in a 30 gallon..

 

I have one in my 24 gal. Cube.8)

 

For an extra pump? or the return? I would suggest a Koralia 1 or 2. The Maxi Jets do not divert flow, in other words, they just blow in one direction with all of its force, the koralias divert the flow and the flow is spread out throughout the tank. You can mod MJ's but with the koralia its better and you dont have to mod it.

 

I already have a koralia nano in the tank, I mean to replace the stock pump with the maxi, I also have the rotating diverter on the end

 

OH okay, yeah..that would work..hahaha

 

Thanks I was just asking to see if it will fit with out any modification, I know there are a few users on here the have the oceanic biocube

 

I have two! 29g and 14g.

 

Sweet what do you think of them over all like quality wise?

we have only had ours for a month and the main mod I added is a reef brite LED bar

 

They are pretty nice..I mean, the filter needs work though...There are alot of mods you can do too make it better though..

So far i have done this..Removed bioballs best thing i have done, they are nitrate factories..Tonight i am making a fuge rack for it in the 2nd chamber of the 29g biocube out of eggcrate.
