    For sure first thing I did was take out the bio balls and add live rock

    I added heater in the 3rd chamber

    Also i took out the filter from the first compartment and added the oceanic skimmer

    Nice, oceanic skimmer is doing an alright job for me, but nothin special.

    If i were you, i would try and add a fuge like I am doing, it will help with trates, since your tank is pretty small they will add up pretty quick.
