Does anyone know anything about this fish I am about to buy one but can't find a lot of information on it. All I have found is its is reef safe helps control worms and that's about it. Anyone have this fish? I was told it was rare but not so sure bout that one

I have one, he's a very busy hunter all day long. He will try to eat a hermit if he gets the opportunity.

Anything specific you'd like to know?

If he's quicker than the hermit to retract, yes. ;)

I have one.. Does well in the reef doesn't bother any of the fish.. Maybe once and a while he will give my Mystery Wrasse a hard time but nothing worth worring about. If a snail of hermit gets over turned say bye bye.. But doesn't bother them when they are right right side up.

I have one and he doesnt bother my hermits, snails or feather dusters but he is a magician at stealing food from corals. He is really timid but is not scared of anything. He comes right up to my hand lookin for food and he swims right up next to the Maroons I got, they will lunge then retreat....he doesnt even budge. They are jumpers so you need a canopy on your tank. They need a deep sand bed because they burrow to sleep at night. They also need alot of rockwork because they are swimming in and out foraging for reefpods, copepods, ect. I feed mine bloodworms, mysis shrimp, and brine shrimp. He will ocasionally take a flake or two of Formula 2 but not often. IMO they are the most beautiful wrasses and very freindly.
