Melanurus Wrasse changing pics

    Ok, so I figured I'd create a picture log of the transformation of my wrasse into a male, if that happens. It'll be especially interesting if it goes to TP colors. I'll take a picture every couple days, until I no longer see any difference in markings or coloration.

    The spot at the base of the pectoral fin seems to have grown a tad, now that I look closely.

    Oh yes. If it goes fully TP male, this thread will be very interesting indeed.

    It's only a 1 day difference in those pics, so there's not a big change, but I'm going to do every 3-4 days.

    This is a beautiful fish. I havent seen one before but I will definatly be looking into getting one in the future. I will be doing some research for sure on compatibility with the fish I have now. Congrats on the fish and keep us posted. :)

    if you edit 1st post with new image, but dont make a new post with comments
    then the thread will not show as containing new posts and could drift out of sight
