    might be out tomorrow
might be out in a weeks time

there is no standard to be honest
once a sand dwelling wrasse regains it confidence that its not in a tank full of things that want to eat it or bully it, then it will be front and centre

As steve said, there is really no telling. I have not seen a wrasse for nearly a week before. When it feels comfortable enough to come out, it will.

It won't eat until it feels safe, but once it does eat, it'll be very aggressive at getting food. No need to worry.

It'll be able to last a week or two under there, at least, if it was well fed to begin with.

Yeah unless a fish is being aggressively picked on, it isn't going to hide until it starves to death.

Let us know when he comes out. :)
