I have used the Phoenix 150 watt DE 14,000K and I am using now XM 20,000K bulbs and out of these two I would say the Phoenix are a brighter blue. Anyone here try the Radium 20,000 DE 150 watt bulb. They are $72.00 a bulb on Marinedepot.com. Please give me your insight and tell me what fixture you are using it in. I have a Sunpod with the built in Electronic Ballast.
    Thanks,
    Adam

I have the 20k xm bulbs and they give more of a purple tint. My corals seem to be a lot more colorful. I dont regret it.

Your right exactly purple more than blue. Have you ever used any other bulb and what fixture do you have.
