I have a hood that has two MH and two VHO's. The inner core on the MH were black so I knew they were bad. My dad was able to get MH for about 40 bucks each through his company. It does not tell if its 10,000k or not. The wave length is from 360nm to 700nm will these work at 175w each? Also is this whats making my water a yellow tint or is it the brown algae?

Could I use them till I get new ones or should I put the old ones back in?

Considering that you have two anemones, esp. the LTA, if the anemones didnt show any negative effect with the old bulbs, yes, I would put them back. They "should" hold you through until the new bulbs come in.

Are you running fresh carbon? Maybe it's your water and not the lights?

Amen on that. Get those out of the fixture ASAP

    Yep.

Might try running some carbon to get rid of the yellow water.

Thanks Luna. Do you know were the best place to get new bulbs, or do I get them from Foster and Smith?
