I have a few questions when it comes to MH/HQI lighting.
    1. First off, I have heard that HQI fixtures can sometimes burn coral close to the surface of a tank. Is this something I should worry about? Should I get reg. MH or HQI? (I have a 115 gallon tank which is 60" long and 25" tall)

Which fixture would you recommend? (I don't have all the $$ in the world to spend, so nothing extravagant.. if anyone has any cheap MH setups and would wish to share, please do!)

    2. I was looking at Current USA's Sunpod. Good/Bad?

This would be the most bang for the buck:

    Odyssea Metal Halide System

As far as burning corals I think you must be refering to the bleaching effect. There are certain corals that will not do well near the top under an MH, but there are tons that will do great. Most SPS will do fine. I also have several types of zoas about 3 inches under water directly under a 250 watt hqi and the look great.
