    Hey guys!

yeah i want the smithii, but the wennerae will probably be easier to find. yeah ive seen the vids and i actually read your thread the other day stepho, and am incredibly jealous of curt =p. to be honest i would be terrified of a peacock lmao. found a 10g nano reef setup on craigslist that ima get and look for a smithii to put into it. ACCEPT NO SUBSTITUTES!!! Ive been thinking about it and i think ima use the 30 to try my hand at rasing banggai's... so another 3 months of research after looking into stomatopods =p... feel bad that im neglecting the 45 =*(**

I have been trying very hard to get a smithii. I have literally been searching for one since i made my thread. :(

I had no luck. Best I could find is liveaquaria.com occasionally gets mantis shrimp of the gonodactylus genus, but the species is unspecified. $20 for the stomatopod and $34 for shipping is an awful lot to me for a gamble on it being a smithii.

I am just going to get a wennerae for $10 from tampa bay saltwater along with some extra live rock. I am going to pick it up so I can avoid shipping charges and hopefully boxing charges.

EDIT: Oh yeah I forgot to mention I am just going to get the wennerae and start saving money for a 30 gal and peacock.
