This is by far the fastest reef build I have ever done. At a little under a month old now it is finished and FULL of soft corals. I'm planning on adding a shrimp and goby pair down the road but for now all that lives in this tank is: tons of pods, brittle stars, asterinas and tons of other stuff that was in my mature rock.

we decide which pictures are boring? come on lets see the cloudy bio cube!

I bet the part you left out was that the water in there also came from your established set up?

did that myself on my 5 gallon nano - water, rock and sand and some filter media all from old set up
fastest cycle ever - everything even the diatom stage finished within 4 weeks.

What kind of light is over the fuge that they were living in? I think an 8g is fine for them, as long as filtration and water changes are on point. and..... lets see some pics. ;D

Nope all brand new water and sand.

I'll be sure to get pictures of it up tomorrow.

I have PC lighting on my fuge. Huge overkill, but it makes it possible to keep a nem or corals in there if need be. the light on the new tank is about the same as the fuge light they were under.
