Mikes Biocube14

This is about 3 weeks into the cycle. 8lbs of live rock (cured over and 6 month period at my LFS), 20lbs of live sand, Scarlet Skunk cleaner shrimp, peppermint shrimp, 5 hermits, and 3 snails. I just added Chaeto in the middle section of the wet/dry filter. (new biocubes already have a cutout in the back to add the light.) The light for the chaeto consists of LED X-Mas lights (bright white and natural white color). with a little electric tape,and cardboard i put together a neat light setup that gives of 0 heat. I added the Koralia power head nano the other day and it has already seemed to really make a big difference. Nitrates, Nitrites, Ammonia, have been at zero for about 4 days now. Calcium is at 500ppm and my specific gravity is at 1.023. Im using tap water! But flagstaff AZ has about the best tap water you can find!

one of my fans already died! no lights till tomorrow when i can hopefully run to the computer store and get a new one
