    my beloved 6 month old niger trigger just disappeared on me its been 2 days and i havent seen him come out to eat. i moved the cave where he usually hangs out and is not their.. I looked around the tank to see if he went carpet surfing but nothing. He was one of the first triggers i got. poor thing...anybody know what could of happend...my stocking list is in my sig.

    do you have a cat by any chance? if the trigger went carpet surfing the cat/dog my have taken it or eaten it.

    He could have died and been eaten, it takes less time then you think. I had 3 chromis disappear and never found them or any remains to this date. BTW, how're your parameters? That seems like a lot of fish for a 55.

    +1 I have had a 4" yellow tang go missing in less than a day. Could be the cuc.

    par's are good. i do a weekly water change on top that...all fish are healthy and eating like pigs. I think my Picasso had something to do with it, he has been really aggressive lately.

    Could be aggression due to the fact that there were 6 fish in a 55 gallon tank that don't really belong in a 55 gallon. I don't know about the puffers, nor do I know what kind of lionfish you have, but 3 triggers in a 55 is askin for trouble.
