Does anything know what Monos eat other than crustaceans and algae, or is that just the main part of their diet?

What the..... that looks suspiciously like a FW fish....

I assuming I'm in a freshwater section and didn't know it. *looks for the sign*

They are usually kept brackish but they do live in the ocean.

Well, they breed in freshwater, are sold at major chains as fresh-to-brackish fish, and live as adults in heavy-brackish to marine environments.

I really want to know if it's like a scat, which will eat anything, or if it has a more restricted diet. I really need something to control my gorilla crab problem; a fish that'll eat crabs and that I can get at a size smaller than my shrimp fits the bill pretty perfectly if it won't eat everything else in the tank like a scat will.
