All these winter storms are merely preparing us for the monster hitting our shores at the end of the month. The new Octopus XP8000 protein skimmer will measure 6" inches.... at the neck! 16" inches at the base and is 36" tall! Churning the waves in this big storm will be a Bubble Blaster 1000s pump producing 165 scfh or 5000 lph at 260 watts that apparently requires an electronic auto collection cup overflow switch to be attached to this beast. Limited quantities will be available from 3reef sponsor Reef Specialty for $1049. Pre-ordering now.

Holy skimmate, Matt-man. You could skim up a fish in that thing. What tank range is that meant for?
