I am thinking of getting the MLC for my RKL system on a 14g Biocube. How do I know there is to much moon light and to little moon light.

The lights really dont do much, ive seen them running on peoples tanks, and there great they are designed for night time use only, and allow just that, you can see the tank clearly and for a biocube id maybe put 2-3 lights in max they have a pretty good spread already

i agree the night lights are for "us" the viewers only, the fish really don't care if there are moon lights or not, i mean in the wild they wont always have a full moon. they are really only there so we can see what is all happening at night.
