Just over 2 months and yes there's a big difference in coral health/growth but I can't say it's strictly the moonlight because I upgraded bulbs in my fixture from stock to ATI, UVL and GE. BUT this controller allows me set moon phases that coordinate with the calander and simulates rising and setting moon. So when it's on a full moon phase the lights go off and the corals 'go to sleep'. The an hour later my moonlight comes on and begins to get brighter as it nears half the run time. It's during this time that I see gsp, zoa's&paly's, toadstools, and even my digi out basking.
