    Tek lights look good enough to not have them.. plus you bought the feets!

    I've felt those Tek fixtures after running for a while. I don't care if they're T5's, they get very hot. Venting would help, but the 8x54 I felt was just as hot as my metal halide fixture gets. They don't heat the water as much because the bulbs don't burn near as hot, but if you didn't need fans, I would be very shocked. I wouldn't enclose that fixture in my house without fans, I can't see it being safe.

    I tried finding the neptune aquacontroller and it's discontinued!! So the websites I looked at say...

    hmmm...reefgeek has some though...I think they are the same thing.

    AC Jr? Yea, the Apex and the Apex Lite is the replacement. The Jr. is still good though, and is inexpensive.
