More Id's Please..

    I was cleaning my Glass and Saw this guy hanging out on the path of the mag float. Im 99% sure its a starfishy.

    Now this guy. Its in the sand be right below it the star fish. Its got feather like dusters. With purple spots in them about 3/4's the way up them. And they are only 1/2" or so in lengh above the sand bed.

    Any ideas?

    starfish are harmless, i have them in my tank too. You can even get inverts like a Harlequin shrimp that eat them.

    I would agree mostly with being harmless, there are many species and some WILL eat SPS tissue if there is not enough micro algae around...

    I would SKIP the harlequin, they are obligate starfish eaters, and unless you want to go to the LFS to pick up a star for them to eat forget them!
