Sweet!! Mine grew like that at one time. Now the cyno out competes the cheato-LOL.

You plan on selling your cheato or just toss it?

Probably just toss it, that's what I did tonight. Never really thought about selling it lol. The closest lfs is about a hour away so I wouldn't think it would be worth the trip.

I am mixing some water for a water change tomorrow and just before I typed this i checked out the tank(I browse the forums before bed) i saw what looked like a newly discovered weird worm in my take that burrowed through the sand and was headed up in to my LR so that makes me a tad nervous because it was large and didn't have bristles. Weirdly though my bristles seemed to be out tonight too. Guess only time will tell. If it is another snail eater or a eunice I will have to break out the hammer again next time I see it... Lol

I don't want to jump to conclusions until I see the head and can identify it but I had one bad worm so far... There could be more... At least I am getting better at identifying hitchikers and pests lol. Sad part is that I bought one tiny actual live rock and it had all kinds of problems. Most of my rock was dry rock to avoid these problems lol. Goes to show you anything can be a problem in this hobby...

The more I think about the worm I saw last night the more I fear it to be another Oenone Fulgida or a Eunice. Either of them would be a problem for me. Mainly because I have so many snails in my tank. Well did before the first incident. The population did suffer from the worm now just to get a better look at it. The part that worries me is the fact the strange bristle/leg things the Oenone Fulgida have can be retracted and it almost has a body then that resembles an common earthworm. That's what it looked like when I saw the body. That is my reasoning for worry. Only time will tell. At least I have documentation of the first day I saw it now with this thread.

Any way of trapping it using snails as bate? I know what you mean about LR. That is why I went with all dry Pukani. No pests this time :)

I will fix it just like I did the last one if I have to... I haven't seen it for 4 months so I still have to plan a tank night hunting expedition. The real thing is I probably can't get it to leave the rockwork totally. Either way I will try find where it is hiding for sure and instantly yank out the rock and quarantine it till it comes out or I break it out of the rock with a hammer.

Well sorry for the late reply on the breeding box but I use a Rio 80 and I had to restrict the flow quite a bit.

As for a new update for the tank. I have a pet bristle worm that I would say is easily 10 inches long now if not longer. Well, if it stretched out but I can say that of all of them in my tank it is the largest.

I will be updateing with a few tank shots soon I hope and sorry about the orientation on the pictures being off. I have a also added a single fish last late June and it is doing well. It is a Six Line Wrasse and he is finally starting to venture out from hiding more lately. The funny part is if he still sees me near the tank and I move he hides. Seems very happy and healthy so far though.
