hi guys, well its been a while since i wanted to get a bigger tank so that i could make my very own reef or semi-reef aquarium.
So today i went to the LFS to get it. it costs 600 dollars plus 300 for the stand. still looking for the lights.

Tomorrow i will be picking the tank and stand, up.
what do you think. any recommendations?

Sounds more like a 125, 150's are usually 26 or 27" tall (I think). no biggie tho. lets see some pics of the shiney new tank and stand. I'm way too cheap to pay that kind of money, so I always end up with used.

Welcome to the Forum. Lots of helpful information here.

I have a 150 gal as well and am watching eagerly to see what you stock and how it gets along. My set up is new and I've only got a couple of clownfish and one firefish goby and a cleaner shrimp and some snails and crabs.

I haven't decided yet whether to go FOWLR or take one half (my overflow is central) and increase the lighting to allow coral. Kind of depends what I have the better ability to keep healthy.
