Thanks to some of the advice of some of the members.....I will be going be getting rid of the 10 gallon tank since I can't get it drilled and replacing it with a plastic container so I can install a bulk head and have that water flow into my wet/dry and using that as my refugium (I saw someone on here do that but can't remember where I saw it). I just poured in the LS this morning and I'm going to be getting my LR this weekend. I'm waiting for it to clear up some so I can post some pics. BTW......I was wondering if someone can point me in the direction of a 75 gallon that shows their rocks and how much they have. I don't know how much LR to purchase:confused:

I really like your tank . It looks like a nice job on the paint. I just am worried about a few things. First is just get rid of those PC's. Maybe save the reflector but ditch those bulbs. Get some T-5's or better Halides. Also what kind of plastic container are you gonna use for your fuge? I have read about them leeching silicates and such into your water causing big problems. Unless they are food grade I would not use them. Just looking out for you Johnny. I hope everything goes well ! Good luck ! Keep us posted. :)

Scratch that plan. I've ben reading up on the Rubbermaid container thing and I've decided that I don't want to convert my living room into a refugium if it decides to break one day.

I've been so annoying about this but it's just that I need/want to get this right from the beginning. Here is the old plan on top and the new plan on the bottom. Hopefully this will work. What do you all think?

You've probably got this done already, but from what I've read on here your 2nd idea is the better one. Better to have the skimmer in the wet dry than in the slower flowing 'fuge. Lights look good!

And the winner is...... #2. That's the way it should be. Looks good.

My only piece(s) of advice would be to add a 3rd ballvalve, before the "t", so you can shut off all flow to your sump and fuge without having to re-adjust both ballvalves to get the correct flows again. Also, add a ballvalve on the return line (just in case you need to slow the flow down a little, and in case you need to service/replace the sump and fuge).
