My Coral beauty angelfish. I still find this one the best compared to the ones I see in LFS. Really strong color in my opinion.

View from right side, which is the main view, since the tank is facing weird direction haha..

I like it, very different looking. That Coral Beauty has tremendous coloring. Thank you for sharing :)

thanks, but planning on changing sand soon, because it makes too much sand storm if i place the power head a bit down.

Cool tank. That big rock is awesome, goes all the way to the top! Be real careful about changing the sand, you may kill your fish if you do that.

Yeah that big rock is pretty cool, if you open the top theres a tip of the rock pointing out so it looks like a smallll island.
And as for sand, im just planning on placing crushed coral sand on top of my current sand. Would that work?

I like how the rock just barely pokes above the water surface. If you have an open top, you'll probably notice snails hanging out on that perch which would be cool.

That might work but you may have a small cycle after adding the sand. Some on here may have more info on this.

Just clean well, place crushed coral in a cup and dump close to the sand bed to minimize the sand kicking up. I did this recently on my 15 gallon tank and did not experience a cycle but I would be very careful not to add a lot right off. I added a 1/4 inch each week until it had the look I was going for. I did have to syphon out about 1/2 inch of the old sand and again it did not seem to have any impact on the tank parameters. I do perform 10% WC each week which may have helped.

Good luck and love that rock.
