yesterday i turned off my lights for my 14gal tank at 9pm. then when i went to bed 11pm i turned on the lights and one of my BW clowns was gone!?! it couldnt have jumped because when i turned the lights off he was there and its a biocube so i always close the front part when i turn the lights off. all thats in the tank is the other clown, a cleaner shrimp about 2" long 3 hermits and some snails a couple of which are lathargic, and a territorial goby but the clown never goes to the bottom anyways. i checked around the floor (just to be sure) no clown. i picked up my rock, disturbed the sand bed, and checked in all the back compartments. but i cant find it. any ideas? im really POed. the only other factor would be my best friend that spent the night but i dont THINK he would do anything

What other tank mates if any do you have? Is it possible for him to simply be hiding in a rock somewhere? I'd give it a few more days and if he doesn't come out for feeding after a day or two then begin to get worried. At night he probably went to hiding... Is he small enough to get stuck to inlet (PS, filter, PH) lines you have? Just a few thoughts. let us know if he reappears!

Hey im sorry to hear your loss. I have a biocube as well, just the 29 gallon. I HAD two clowns and finally figured out one them made it into the pump area and most likely got sucked through and your clean up crew finished what was left of him.

There might be, but they would be so small most of it would be eating by the clean up crew. It is very frustrating, trust me. ahha
