    Nice dude. I did the same with a 20g for my 75
    I think I recognize the return pump. Is it a Via Aqua?
    It's my all time fav. Cheap and efficient;)
    BTW. What do you have as your bio? It looks like lava rocks?

    i have to finish plumming the intake. Its gonna be two lines that hang out the bioballs section. Itll be made out of pvc as to T sections that rain over the filter element.

    Are the bio balls going to be fully submerged?

    Aren't they the best?;D

    Some may argue that water should trickle through the bio balls while others like it submerged. I personally like to have the water tricking down (hence the reason why it's called a trickle filter), it allows for more aeration thus more aerobic bacteria.

    well see how it works out with them being submerged. I think imay end up changing it up alittle. Right now Im gettin ready to build a custom stand for my 30 gallon but its gonna be big enough to hold a 55g. Cuz i might be upgrading soon. :)
