My first loss

Well, I was placing some corals in my tank and I noticed that when I went to the corner where my blue and pink spotted goby usually stays, I didn't see him.
So I get out a flashlight as I had the lights off the tank to place the corals and he is no where to be found. He is around a 4-5 in fish so its kind of hard to miss him.
Well there he was laying about 5 feet away from the tank on the carpet.
I fed the tank this mornign and he was in there but I guess he jumped sometime dureing the day. I even had screen surrounding my light to keep him in but I guess he has good aim as it wasnt tight around the light.

I feel so bad for the little guy. I know thats a horrible death.

 

Sorry for your loss. There are a lot of us on here that have lost fish in a similar fashion.

 

Has happened to everyone one time or another. Great excuse to buy another one.

Well he was my first fish.
My mom didn't like him so I was going to trade him in anyways but I still feel really bad.

 

sorry for your lose meagan. since your mom didnt like him, she should buy you a nice xmas gift with gills.
