I have a small cluster on a piece of LR... it's growing and I kind of like it. Of course, I have no clue what I'm getting myself into ;)

I added a two-part DIY overflow box to my RSM250 (using both outlets of the RSM chiller attachment).
Both parts connect to the RSM attachment, one goes into the tank (right chamber, where pump #2 is) and the other hangs on the attachment outside the tank.
I have 1/4" tubing in each U-tube connected to a Maxi-Jet that sucks any air out of them. The Maxi-Jet is on a timer so it turns on for 15min. every day to get rid of any air that might have been accumulated in the U-tubes.

I drilled the plastic back of the tank for the return - right filter chamber, where the mechanical filter is:

    Continuing with the upgrades :)
I also added 2 Two Little Fishies phosphate reactors - one with Dr. G's Phosphate Remover and another with Purigen:

My RODI is connected to a Level-Loc ATO in the sump (float valve + float switch and a solenoid as a back up, the solenoid is on a timer and runs only 45min. a day - just enough to fill up the sump to the desired level).
I also have a Tunze Alarm in the DT so if the overflow fails for any reason it turns off the return pump in the sump and starts beeping:

And finally a few pics of my RODI. I have a small bucket next to it for a RO reservoir (~10g) with a float switch connected to a solenoid, which is also on a timer. I have a float valve for a back-up:

I installed a Maxi-Jet 1200 in the bucket and hooked it up to a switch so when I need RO water for WC's I just place a 5g bucket with the salt in it and turn the Maxi-Jet on to fill it up:

All this is in the laundry room, the RSM250 is on the other side of the wall facing the sink with the RODI unit:
