So there must have been a fight sometime between my purple and achillies, and the achillies got pretty roughed up on what looks like rockwork. He is still eating well, but he is pretty banged up, and his right eye is cloudy. Lets hope he has a fast recovery.

My purple and sohal had a good spat a few weeks ago when I first got the purple. both were pretty scratched up, but since then, we have had a very peaceful co-existance and all wounds have healed. the sohad had numerous scratches and the purple had a good puncture wound. you cannot tell on either now except for a faint scar on the purple.

Likely that is what it ended up as. the final drag out fight for dominance. if they are like mine, Sohal is the boss and the purple is the enforcer.

lol, purple the enforcer sounds about right. It almost looks like they were fighting and the achillies was to close to the rocks, and well picked a fight with the rockwork. Poor guy he looks horrible.

    New additions

So I pickedup a cleaner shrimp about a week ago, I had a fire shrimp as well, but he didnt make it through the first night of being in the tank. Also small male Blue Jaw Triggerfish a few days ago. I couldnt pass him up at the store, I have always wanted a trigger (I love how they swim), but my first experience didnt end well, so I searched for the "least aggressive" trigger, and so far a few days in the tank he is behaving. My purple didnt like his arrival, but after a day they calmed down. No major fighting as of now in the tank, hopefully it will stay peaceful. Also great news the Achillies has completely recovered from his fight with the rockwork, he had me scared but we are good to go.
