    I have a 55g setup now with 30lbs of liverock and 20lbs of livesand.. I need more sand but don't feel like paying 2$ a lb... And also I only have 2 standard 15watt lights.. is there anyhing better I can get for my standard hoods for time being? Right now its only FOWLR.. I'll be adding coral in about 6-12months.. Just wanna get my tank up and going for now. Well thanks for any input and stocking options are open now :D, I have 2 Osc Clowns.. and 2 blue legged hermits.. right now... but yea :) Anything would be helpful thanks guys!

    get new lights, 30 watts is well...get a bag of argonite.

    for a FOWLR tank your existing light will be adequate
    when you decide to move into corals, you could consider a canopy with 6 x T5s as this will give you multiple options on corals
    you could go one better and get a metal Halide / T5 combo

    flow would be another area to consider when adding corals

    I Note you have clowns, please dont be tempted to try and add a nem for them before upgrading your lights and your tank is more matured as many species are extremely demanding in terms of light and water quality requirements

    I know about not attempting Nems right now Steve.. I probally won't be adding even corals for 6months or so.. And where do I get a bag of argonite sand?
